Internet filtering

On Wednesday, January 31 parents will begin to receive a weekly email from Securly.com, our new internet filtering system, that will show them a preview of their child’s online activity on their school-issued device.

Remember, our school-issued device is a learning tool.  We are each expected to be respectful, responsible, and safe with our devices.

Friday 11/03 Lunch Expectations Reminder

• Please do not stick stickers from bananas or gum onto the trays. This is harmful to the dish washing equipment. Randy has been finding more gum under trays.
• Please collect all of your trash. This is especially true on walking taco days and any time the maple syrup is being served.
• As you are being dismissed to recces please close the top of your milk if it is not finished before standing up to wait in line. This will reduce the number of milk spills that Mr. Drake and Mr. Wilson will need to clean up.

Independent Reading

Reminder: From now on any Independent Reading book needs to be within a student's Lexile range. I am doing this to help students find reading books that are at an appropriate level for them. Every book from the Middle-School Library has a Lexile numbered assigned to it. But, if a student reads a book that does not have a number for it please use the link below to help determine if it is in their range or not. Please check with me if you are unsure whether a book is acceptable or not. Thanks!
