- Teaching Point: Today I want to teach you that as you think about perspective, you must also think about the change that occurs as part of the plot. When you understand the change(s) that are happening to the character, you will understand how this impacts how the story is "seen."

- What point of view is the story being told in?
- How do you know? Use examples from the story to support your answer.
- Who's perspective is the story in? How does this impact the story? What does it make you think about the plot?
- Free Reading Time: "Quoting Accurately to Infer" Response is due Thursday:
- Identify FIVE inferences you have while reading.
- Quote accurately using the author's exact words.
- Explain your inference.
