Tuesday 05/08 Science - Classifying Living Things

Purpose: I can ask questions that deepen my thinking about how scientists classify living things.
  1. Connection: Curiosity
  2. Teaching Point: Today I want to teach you that curiosity is one of the greatest strengths we possess. All the best scientists in the world share this curiosity for the world around them. Never accepting what seems obvious, we can always look deeper and more thoroughly at a what we learn and discover.
  3. Engagement: How Do Scientists Classify Living Things? Quoting Accurately While Questioning
    • Textbook pages 6 - 11
    • Ask at least FIVE (5) total questions that deepen your thinking while quoting accurately.
    • Work with your partner, but each of you is responsible for recording your own work.
