Stump Mr. Erickson: With your group, choose the word and its sentence from your book.
Book Club Meeting: Have your "Unknown Words" Response ready to share
Thinking & Writing About Your Reading: "Describe the Setting" Response is due Tuesday

Describe how the time, place, and environment of your book impact the story in a written paragraph
Draw a map of the main setting.
Include FIVE captions that help explain your setting.

Purpose: I can use my scientific inquiry skills to think about liquids that create chemical changes.

Review: What are the signs of a chemical change?
Whole Group Lesson: What would happen if you drank a glass of acid?
Reading Further: Read and comprehend "Bioluminescence" @ Newsela to better understand chemical reactions in living things.

Purpose: I can use characteristics of good information writing to show what I know about The American Revolution.
