Purpose:  I can shape my poems to help readers understand what they're about.

2. Poets shape their stanzas to help us understand the subject and sensory details to help their audience see, hear, smell, taste, and feel what's happening.
3. Independent Writing Time:
• Write unique poems about ordinary things.
• Continue using sensory words to describe weather.
• Continue personifying objects.
• Continue to write words and images for months of the year.
• Use sensory details to describe any other topic.
