Thursday 10/20 Science Activity

Purpose:  I can classify rocks according to their characteristics.

1. Review:  How are the different types of rocks formed?
2. Whole Group: The Rock Cycle (pages 114 - 115)
3. Independent Practice: Rocks Cycle Sort
1. Cut out each description.
2. Cut out each rock.
3. Sort them into the correct rock type.
4. After you have checked them, glue them into your notebook.
