Friday 10/21 The Leader in Me Activity

End in Mind: I can understand how standing up to peer pressure encourages others to do the same.
  1. Whole Class Discussion: Positive and negative peer pressure.
  2. Guided Practice: Write a narrative about a time you witnessed bullying or name-calling and made a choice to be a bystander.
  3. Independent Practice: Circle of Control Chart
    1.  Recall a situation when you may have witnessed a person being bullied or called names.
    2. Write what is within your Circle of Control and within your Circle of No Control in this type of situation.
  4. Assessment: How has what you learned changed your thinking?
