Purpose: I can analyze how the mood, tone, and beauty are enhanced by multimedia elements.

2. Practice: Identifying the tone and mood of The Giving Tree: Poem and Video
1. What is the tone/mood of the book?  Why?
2. How do multimedia elements in the video help you feel the mood?
3. Which multimedia element most enhanced the beauty of the text?
3. "Analyze Visual Elements" Response is due Friday: 
1. Before reading your text, closely inspect and analyze the visuals of the book cover. 
2. Then at the end of your reading assignment, analyze your “Before Reading” descriptions to see how well the text matches the visuals.
