- Nonfiction Reading: Read and explore nonfiction articles at Newsela, TrueFlix, and/or Ask Dr. Universe
- Application: "Analyze Visual Elements" Response is due Friday:
- Before reading your text, closely inspect and analyze the visuals of the book cover.
- Then at the end of your reading assignment, analyze your “Before Reading” descriptions to see how well the text matches the visuals.
