Tuesday 09/05 Literacy Block Agenda
Purpose: I can analyze how the characters in a story are introduced.
- Whole Group: Realistic Fiction Genre Book Club Introduction
- Small Group: Determine Needed Materials and Consequence for your Book Club
- Independent Practice: Read, think, and write about your new book!
- List the characters you meet during your first Reading Assignment for your book club.
- In your Reading Notebook, use a Character Web to identify elements of THREE characters:
- Appearance
- Actions of the character
- Thoughts/feelings the character has
- Your opinion of the character (like/dislike, connections, etc)
- Have your Response Assignment ready to share with your book club on Friday.
